Built in BC. Built on trust.
Good Maid Cleaning started with a simple frustration: booking a trustworthy house cleaner shouldn't take three phone calls and a guessing game on price. So we built the company we wished existed — and we vet every cleaner who joins it like it's our own home on the line.
We got tired of the same three phone calls, so we skipped them.
Before Good Maid Cleaning existed, booking a house cleaner meant the same routine: call around for quotes, wait for someone to call back, and still not really know who was showing up at your door. We didn't think that was good enough for something as personal as letting a stranger into your home.
So we started small — a handful of cleaners, transparent pricing shown up front, and a background-check process we wouldn't cut corners on, even when it meant turning away most applicants. Word spread neighbourhood by neighbourhood across Metro Vancouver, and the promise never changed as the team grew: the price you see is the price you pay, and the person who shows up has been checked, interviewed, and trained the same way every time.
Four things that don't change as we grow.
Trust above everything
You're letting someone into your home, so every cleaner is ID-verified, background-checked and reference-checked before their first visit. No exceptions, no shortcuts.
No excuses, real results
If something's missed, we don't explain it away — tell us within 24 hours and we'll come back and fix it, free. We'd rather fix it than justify it.
Respect for your time
Instant online pricing, real booking windows, and cleaners who show up when they say they will. No phone tag, no waiting around for a quote that never comes.
Built for Metro Vancouver
Locally owned and operated, with cleaners who live in the communities they clean — not a national call centre reading from a script.
Better care starts with better cleaners.
At Good Maid Cleaning, we believe the quality of your clean starts with the person doing it. That's why cleaners on our team earn $30+/hr on most cleans — well above what many cleaning companies offer.
Paying more lets us be pickier: we attract reliable, hardworking cleaners who take pride in their work and want to stick around, instead of a revolving door of new faces still learning your home. When cleaners are valued and fairly paid, it shows up in the care they take and the consistency you get, visit after visit.
Our goal is a dependable team that actually cares about the homes they clean and the people they clean for — not cutting corners to cycle through cleaners as fast as possible. That's a better day for our cleaners, and a better clean for you.
Give every household back their weekend.
That's it. Not "disrupt the cleaning industry" or "revolutionize" anything — just consistently good, honestly priced cleaning, so the time you'd spend scrubbing goes back to the people and things you actually care about.
